Vision: Vision: The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, as a historical museum and memorial, envisions maintaining stability and peace in Cambodia. To achieve this, it contributes to the healing of psychological trauma caused by decades of war and crime. Furthermore, it disseminates historical knowledge both within Cambodia and beyond, striving to create a more peaceful world.

Mission: The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum aims to preserve the memory of the victims who lost their lives during the Democratic Kampuchea regime. Additionally, it contributes to preventing the recurrence of genocide and violence through the preservation and display of historical evidence as well as by creating a space for education and reflection on the past.

All the Museum’s activities are grounded on four pillars:

  • Building a professional organization
  • Connect with the past
  • Connect with the Cambodian people
  • Connect with the world
